I have worked in childcare for 6 years, and have been at little acorns since 2020. My favourite thing about childcare is the happy faces they have coming in and joining in with activities! I also have a son who attends the nursery in the baby room
Courtney- Room Leader
I have worked in childcare for 6 years and have 2 little girls of my own. I am currently working towards achieving my level 3 childcare qualification and look forward to progressing my career as a part of the little acorns team :)
The Toddler Room
The Toddler Room is for children aged 2-3 years. They have 1 large play room, and two smaller side siderooms in an open plan space, in these rooms there is a range of areas including- sand and water, craft and messy, reading, maths, construction, small world, role-play, mark making and topic areas.They also have a separate food room for cooking and meal times, and a sleep room for those who needs sleeps throughout the day. The toddlers have their own Childrens bathrooms, with 5 Childrens toilets and sinks as well as a nappy changing area.
The Toddler room is lucky to have an extra curricular activity hosted by TA sports on Friday mornings.
Staff in the rooms create a wonderful language rich and exciting environment with activities and experiences based of of the Childrens next steps in their development getting them ready to move up to our Preschool room
