ASSISTANT MANAGER

Hello, I am the assistant manager of the nursery, and started this role in December 2022, I have previously worked at little acorns for 13 years. I started as an unqualified assistant and working my way up the ladder. I hold and nVQ3 and ILM4 and I am currently studying for my level 5 childcare diploma.

I love to travel, and frequently visit Malta to visit friends. I feel nursery is my happy place and I am very excited to be back working with the team to provide top tier childcare.

DEPUTY MANGER

Hello I am the Deputy Manger of the nursery, I started my childcare journey as an apprentice with little acorns and have progressed up, gaining my level 3 qualification in child care.

I am always keen to learn and have taken part in a variety of training sessions that have given me the knowledge and understanding to become the designated safeguarding lead for the nursery and SENCO,

When i’m not at nursery I enjoy spending time with my family, I have previously spent some of my free time volunteering with a charity called Didcot Train , a youth charity. From this I have been able to engage in some wonderful experienced such as mountaineering, scuba diving and canyoning! I love a challenge

HANDY MAN

Hello, I am the handy man at nursery, I used to work at Hilton primary school before Amanda asked me if I would like to work at the nursery. I have covered many safeguarding programs for working at the school and nursery.

I don’t have a lot to do with the children apart from seeing them all enjoying themselves, and of course repairing the things they break.

They call me MR D
